The Australian Montessori Teacher Education Foundation (AMTEF) is an official teacher training centre of the Association Montessori Internationale.
AMTEF offers the following AMI training courses:
Assistants to Infancy (0-3)
Early Childhood (3-6)
Primary (6-12)
The objects of AMTEF are as follows:

To establish and maintain a teacher education centre which will sponsor AMI Teacher Education Courses in Australia.

To support the participation in the AMI Training of Trainers program by AMI diploma holders in Australia.
|
|
|
To obtain recognition by Commonwealth, State and other appropriate authorities of AMI qualifications and of AMTEF as an educational institution qualifying for financial assistance.
|
|
|
To support the objectives of AMI which are to maintain, propagate and further the ideas and principles of Dr Maria Montessori for the full development of the human being.
